BASIC PISTOL CAMP

The Basic Pistol CAMP introduces students to the knowledge, skills and responsibility necessary for owning and using a pistol safely. Through comprehensive classroom and range instruction the student will learn about pistol parts and operation; ammunition; firearm safety; marksmanship fundamentals, and more. Students will be administered an examination at the beginning and end of the course

Class Time: 7am to 3pm

REQUIRED GEAR

A valid US driver's license. ALL STUDENTS WILL BE VETTED 

Pencil and paper for note taking. Students may bring their personal firearm.  Eye and hearing protection is required for range day.

At least 100 rounds (Appropriate ammunition for your firearm).

NO AMMUNITION IS ALLOWED IN THE CLASSROOM.

For range day, bring a Kydex belt holster if you have one, but not required. NO NYLON HOLSTERS

Dress according to weather conditions. No sleeveless or low-cut shirts allowed on the range. 

 A cap with brim is necessary.
